CONSULTATION, REFLECTION PERIOD AND FOLLOW-UP

We always take the time to consult with you before starting any treatment, whether you are treated on the same day or only later according to the Danish Patient Safety Authority’s regulations (reflection period).

A thorough guidance and dialogue before the cosmetic treatment is important, both for you and for us. Besides safety and high professional standards, quality for us also means thorough guidance, alignment of expectations, and honesty.

Aligning expectations is a joint effort. As practitioners, we can assess which treatments will be most optimal for you to achieve the desired effect, so that your wishes and needs can be fulfilled. We often recommend taking a "cautious approach" and starting with the issue that matters most when you look at yourself in the mirror.

Consultation and follow-up are free at Apex Aesthetics with some exceptions. We are also happy to offer you a specialist consultation if you do not wish to undergo treatment but, for example, simply want a "second opinion" on a previous treatment carried out at another clinic. A reasonable fee applies for this; see below:

At Apex Aesthetics, we prioritize thorough guidance and time for dialogue before starting any treatment—whether the treatment can be performed on the same day or only after the mandatory reflection period, according to the Danish Patient Safety Authority’s guidelines.

An honest and professional conversation is an important part of the entire treatment process. For us, high quality is not only about safety and professional standards, but equally about transparency, managing expectations, and providing reassurance.

Aligning expectations is a shared responsibility. Our role is to advise you on the treatments that best match your wishes and needs, so you achieve a result you are happy with. We often recommend starting small — focusing on what matters most to you.

Clinics that choose to disregard the reflection period are likely also willing to compromise your health and safety in other areas. The reflection period exists to protect you and to give you time to reconsider whether you want the treatment, after receiving thorough information about the effects and potential side effects of the treatment.
